I don’t know if the fans should be happy or not, yet we don’t yet know what we’ll get, but personally I am still optimistic about this. So, the creators of the cool series “World of the Wild West” – Lisa Joy and John Nolan (they, by the way, are spouses) – will remove the series in the Fallout universe for Amazon Studios.
True, it is not yet clear who they will play in the process of creating the series. The original source speaks vaguely, but most likely it is at least a producer, but, quite possibly, a director’s chair for Nolan. By the way, John Nolan is the brother of the very Christopher Nolan. And so that you better understand the possibilities of John, it is worth knowing that, for example, he wrote the story “Memento Mori”, on the basis of which then Christopher and John created the cult film “Remember”. In addition, John worked as a screenwriter on both Prestige and Interstellar. And the same “Wild West World” is very indicative of a number of points in terms of the capabilities of the second Nolan as the author of stories.
But that's not all. Of course, Amazon bought the rights to create the series from Bethesda. And from Bethesda's side, Todd Howard and James Altman will be working on the project. Howard, if anything, is central to Bethesda regarding the game universes of Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. In addition, the Nolanov couple are supposedly themselves fans of Fallout games, so there is a chance to get a cool game franchise series from people who know, understand and love this franchise.
Unfortunately, the process of working on the series is now at an early stage, so it is unlikely that we will see the first season earlier than in a year. Well, so far nothing is known about when and where the events of the series will take place. Given the characteristics of the Fallout universe, it’s useless to even guess here. But we can assume that the main character will again be from some refuge.
