The POCO brand today introduced its next smartphone in India. The novelty is called POCO M2 Pro, although in fact it is a hybrid of the Indian and global versions of Redmi Note 9 Pro. From the first, the smartphone took a 48 MP camera, from the second – 33 W charging and camera design. In general, the device offers very competitive features and an affordable price.
The smartphone is equipped with an IPS-display with a diagonal of 6.67 ″, a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and support for HDR10. At the top of the screen in the center is a 16 MP front camera. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset with Adreno 618 graphics is used as the hardware platform. The RAM is installed 4/6 GB (LPDDR4), the built-in 64/128 GB (UFS 2.1).
There are four camera modules on the back panel. The main sensor has a resolution of 48 MP, aperture f / 1.8. The company consists of 8 MP super-wide (f / 2.2, 119 degrees), 5 MP macro camera and 2 MP depth sensor (f / 2.4).
POCO M2 Pro received a 5000 mAh battery. Supports 33W wired charging. The smartphone is also equipped with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, an infrared port and a fingerprint scanner. There is dust and splash protection according to the P2i standard. The device runs on Android 10 and the proprietary MIUI 11 for POCO shell.
POCO M2 Pro goes on sale July 14 in India. The basic version of 4/64 GB is priced at $ 187. The 6/64 GB version will cost $ 200, and 6/128 GB – $ 227. Three colors will be available to choose from.
