OnePlus entered the TV market last year by launching the OnePlus TV 55 in two versions: TV 55 Q1 and TV 55 Q1 Pro. Even the youngest one cost almost $ 1,000, and even the older one was asked for $ 1,410.
And now, OnePlus has decided to release budget televisions, and the younger model is budget without any reservations – it costs only 175 dollars. But let's take it in order.
So, just announced three models: OnePlus TV 32Y1, TV 43Y1 and 55U1. The diagonals are indicated in the names, so everything is simple here. Televisions are presented in India, and it is not yet clear whether they will go beyond its borders and, if so, when. Of course, I would like to.
The cost in the same order is 175, 310 and 670 dollars. Of course, these are not the cheapest TVs on the market, but if you take the same Xiaomi, in India its TVs cost about the same.
What do we get for this money? OnePlus TV 32Y1 has an HD panel, TV 43Y1 – Full HD. In both cases, DCI-P3 space coverage of 93% is claimed. These models have 20 W stereo speakers, based on Android TV 9.0, have built-in Chromecast, Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth 5.0 and a set of ports including RJ45, HDMI (x2), RCA, USB (x2) and SPDIF. Televisions are based on an unnamed 64-bit CPU, they also have 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory. OnePlus highlights slim bezels, Connect app support, and Dolby Audio support.
Model TV 55U1 is not in vain in another line. It’s more expensive not only because it’s bigger and can offer a 4K UHD panel. There is also a very thin body (6.9 mm), MEMC technology, support for HDR10 +, a 30-watt sound system with four speakers, Wi-Fi 5 and a slightly wider range of ports.
Pre-orders are already open on Amazon's Indian site. Deliveries of the younger model are scheduled for July 5.
