Recently, manufacturers of smartphones and accessories have gained access to materials such as gallium nitride. It, of course, is far from new, but for some reason, just a few months ago, chargers for smartphones with this material in the basis began to appear relatively massively on the market.
Among other things, gallium nitride can significantly reduce the size of the charges while maintaining their parameters in general and power in particular. And this took advantage of including the company Hyper, which introduced a charger with the long name HyperJuice GaN 100W USB-C Charger. From this name it is clear that the device was created using gallium nitride, that it has a USB-C port and that the power of the memory is 100 watts.
At the same time, the dimensions of the device are only 85.3 x 60.8 x 28.9 mm with a weight of 208 g. The manufacturer himself compares the size of the memory with a credit card, and, with the exception of the thickness, the dimensions are as similar as possible. Recall that the power here is as much as 100 watts!
In addition, there are four USB ports at once: a USB-C pair and a USB-A pair. Each USB-C is capable of delivering up to 100 watts, and each of USB-A is capable of delivering up to 18 watts. I’ll clarify: in the case of USB-C, of course, 100 W can be obtained if there is no connection to other connectors.
They ask for $ 100 for the device, which is very significant, but with analogues it’s not easy. Offhand I did not remember a single one, if you know, please write in the comments.
