General Motors has released a new commercial featuring basketball player LeBron James, continuing to fuel interest in the electric Hummer. Let me remind you that the official announcement of the car took place at the beginning of this year.

As seen in the video, the Hummer will be available in pickup and SUV bodies. The total power of the electric motors is 1000 hp, acceleration to hundreds takes less than three seconds. The driver will have access to various driving modes, for example, Adrenaline Mode and Crab Mode, but it has not yet been specified what they are intended for. But it is obvious that the "endless roof" will provide an excellent view of the night sky.

Resource Autoblog suggests that the Hummer SUV will be slightly larger than the four-door Ford Bronco unveiled a couple of weeks ago. But the pickup is likely to be smaller than Tesla's Cybertruck.

GMC promises we'll see a full electric Hummer this fall. Then it will be possible to reserve a car for yourself. But production starts only a year later – in the fall of 2021.
