Despite the fact that so far there has been no information from Apple about a possible transfer of the autumn presentation of the iPhone 12, rumors about this have been circulating on the network lately. Recently, the head of Broadcom, which is a component supplier for Apple, touched on this issue. Hawk Tan noted that the presentation of new devices is likely to take place a few weeks later than usual. Given that Apple has been holding its fall event in mid-September in recent years, it can be assumed that this time it will be held in October.

Postponing the presentation for a couple of weeks may not seem like a very serious change in plans, nevertheless, it will most likely affect the company's quarterly balance sheet. In particular, the traditional revenue growth, which usually occurs in the third quarter, is now likely to be shifted to the fourth quarter. This also applies to suppliers.

The reason for the possible transfer of the presentation of the new iPhone is directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to quarantine and restrictions on international flights, Apple engineers for a long time could not fly to China to clarify all the working nuances. Therefore, the production dates were shifted.
