A couple of new products from Dell.
Let's start with the XPS 15. The laptop received the most significant design update in five years. It was equipped with a 15.6 ″ IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Screen resolution can be Full HD (1920 × 1200) or 4K (3840 × 2400). Optional touch screen available.
Customers can choose from a variety of XPS 15 configurations with Intel 10th generation processors (i5-10300H, i7-10750H or i7-10875H) and integrated Intel UHD Graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q with 4 GB of memory. RAM can be installed up to 64 GB (DDR4-2933MHz). The maximum storage capacity is 2 TB (M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD).
Two Thunderbolt 3 (Power Delivery, DisplayPort), one USB-C 3.1 (Power Delivery, DisplayPort), SD-reader, 3.5 mm audio jack are available from the connection interfaces. Also included is a USB-C to USB-A and HDMI 2.0 adapter. In addition, Wi-Fi 6 (Killer AX1650) and Bluetooth 5.0 modules are installed. Four speakers are responsible for sound reproduction (LF 2×2.5W + HF 2×1.5W). The battery capacity is 56 Wh * h or 86 Wh * h.
The cost of the updated Dell XPS 15 starts at $ 1299. The top version will cost about $ 3100.
Representatives of Dell called the XPS 17 model the most compact laptop in the class. Moreover, it is also described as "the most powerful XPS of all time." Like the XPS 15, the novelty received a screen with an aspect ratio of 16:10, and the 17 ″ IPS display itself can have a resolution of 4K (3840 × 2400) or Full HD (1920 × 1200).
Unlike the 15-inch model, the XPS 17 can also offer a configuration with an Intel Core i9-10885H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card with 6 GB of memory. Other characteristics of laptops are almost identical. The only difference is that the XPS 17 is equipped with four Thunderbolt 3 ports, and the battery capacity in the top versions is 97 Wh.
The base version of the Dell XPS 17 is offered for $ 1,499. The laptop will go on sale in the summer.
