We will learn more details in a week.
I think the Mafia series of games needs no introduction. The first part was released back in 2002. She received high marks, both from critics (88 out of 100 on Metacritic) and from fans. In 2010, the no less chic Mafia II was released, which had a completely separate story, although it has references to the first part. But Mafia III (2016) received very mixed ratings, disappointing many fans. Today, 2K Games has published a teaser in which you can see characters from all three parts and the announcement of Mafia: Trilogy.
Unfortunately, there is no information about the trilogy yet. A full announcement will take place on May 19 at 19:00 Kyiv time. In the meantime, it is reported that the first part will be completely redesigned on the Mafia III engine. It will be called Mafia: Definitive Edition. Not only updated graphics will appear in it, but also additional materials that will expand the story. The estimated release date for Mafia: Trilogy is August 28th. In addition, you can evaluate the first screenshots from the game:
But the remaster Mafia II, which will also be released with the prefix Definitive Edition, should be available to gamers on May 19 (probably immediately after the full announcement from 2K Games). It will include all existing DLC add-ons.
