Wi-Fi 6 is becoming more accessible to users. A new router with support for this wireless standard has appeared in the assortment of Xiaomi. The Mi AIoT Router AX3600 is a flagship device equipped with the Qualcomm IPQ8071A chipset, 512 MB of RAM and 256 MB of internal storage. Up to 248 devices can be connected to such a router at the same time.
The router is equipped with seven antennas. One is responsible for IoT devices, two are for the 2.4 GHz band, the other five are for the 5 GHz band. The maximum data transfer rate is 2976 Mbps. Declared support OFDMA technology, which enables the router to send data to multiple devices using a single data stream. However, host devices must also support OFDMA. Of the connection interfaces, a gigabit WAN port and three gigabit LAN ports are available.
