A very unusual device.
Sony SRS-LSR200 is a portable speaker with a carrying handle, on the top panel of which there are television controls. Inside the device, a pair of 2 W stereo speakers and an additional central speaker, which is responsible for playing the voice, are installed.
The battery life of the LSR200 is about 13 hours. The device is charged from a special docking station that connects to any TV. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge. You can also charge the speaker via the USB port. The device connects to the base (and thus to the TV) via wireless communication and can simultaneously play audio with the TV speakers. TV functions are controlled via infrared. The column weighs 630 grams.
Sony SRS-LSR200 goes on sale in Japan starting February 22. Cost ~ $ 180.
