Martin Luther King’s most famous speech “I have a dream” will soon be available in virtual reality.
The speech “I Have a Dream” that Martin Luther King delivered from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial is one of the highlights of the American Civil Rights Movement. She is recognized as the best speech of the twentieth century by the American community of oratory. However, it is one thing to read a speech or even listen to its recording, and it is quite another to feel like part of a civil rights march.
Time Magazine, along with producer Viola Davis, recreates the civil rights march and performance of Martin Luther King on August 28, 1963 in virtual reality. For this, dozens of actors are involved, participants in the march, artificial intelligence and 3D technologies, photogrammetry and many other tools are used.
Premiere exposure will be held at the DuSable Museum of African American History in Chicago on February 28, 2020.
