Xiaomi has unveiled a new smartphone under the Redmi brand – the Redmi K30 model.
The novelty received a rather rather large AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.67 ″ with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. The maximum refresh rate of the screen is 120 Hz. Instead of the usual “droplet” in the upper right corner of the display there is a hole in the place of which there is a dual front camera. It includes a main 20 MP module and an additional 2 MP depth sensor.
As the hardware platform Redmi K30 stands the recently introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. Let me remind you that this SoC has a built-in 5G modem, so in countries where the fifth generation mobile network is already available, this smartphone can become very popular. Devices with various memory configurations will be available for sale: 6/64 GB, 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, 8/256 GB. There is a microSD card slot.
Four main camera modules are located on the rear panel: 64 MP (Sony IMX686, f / 1.7) + 8 MP (ultra-wide, viewing angle 120 degrees, f / 2.2) + 5 MP (macro lens) + 2 MP (depth sensor). The built-in battery capacity is 4,500 mAh, fast 30 W charging is supported.
The device is also equipped with Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB-C port, 3.5-mm audio jack, infrared port. The smartphone is running Android 10 and the proprietary shell MIUI 11.

In addition, Xiaomi will release a 4G version of the smartphone. Its price tag will range from $ 227 (6/64 GB) to $ 312 (8/256 GB).
