Qualcomm has shared information about its new on-chip systems.
The chipset is built on the 7 nm process technology and includes eight Kryo 585 processor cores. The Adreno 650 video accelerator is responsible for processing the graphics. Together with the chipset, the Snapdragon X55 modem can be installed, which adds support for 5G (mmWave, sub-6 GHz; download speed up to 7.5 Gb / s , returns up to 3 Gbps).
The platform works with Wi-Fi 6 modules (peak speed up to 10 Gb / s), Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS. The maximum amount of RAM is 16 GB. SD865 supports 4K displays with a refresh rate of 60 Hz, Quad HD + screens with a frequency of 144 Hz.
The Spectra 480 processor is responsible for the operation of the cameras. Smartphones with this chipset can take 200 MP photos, as well as record video in 8K resolution at 30 fps (4K at 120 fps). Slow-motion: 720p at 960 fps The HEIF / HEVC codec is supported.

Snapdragon 765 5G
This chipset is designed for mid-range devices. Like the SD865, it is built on the 7 nm process technology and includes eight cores, although in this case it is Kryo 475. The Snapdragon X52 modem is integrated into the chipset. It has support for 5G (mmWave, sub-6 GHz; download speed up to 3.7 Gbit / s, upload up to 1.6 Gbps). Adreno 620 is responsible for processing the graphics.
There is support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC. Smartphones can be equipped with Full HD displays with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and 8 GB of RAM.
The Spectra 355 processor is responsible for the operation of the cameras. Devices can take photos with a resolution of up to 192 MP. It supports recording 4K HDR video with bokeh, slow-motion 720p at 480 fps.
I note that the Snapdragon 765G chipset has similar characteristics, but the Adreno 620 video accelerator is 20% more productive, which should positively affect the behavior of smartphones in games.
The first smartphones with new chipsets will hit the market in the first quarter of 2020.
