LG on the eve of the exhibition CES 2020 presented the new monitors of the Ultra line.
One of the main devices of the 2020 model year is UltraFine Ergo (32UN880). This is a 32 ″ 4K monitor that can be rotated 280 degrees horizontally and 25 degrees vertically. By using a stand that attaches to the side of the table, the new monitor can save valuable space on your desktop.
The IPS panel has 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and HDR10 support. Of the connection interfaces, USB-C, DisplayPort, two HDMI and two USB-A are available. In addition, support for FreeSync technology is announced. The response time is 5 ms, a typical brightness level is declared at 350 nits, the refresh rate is 60 Hz.
If you need a game model, then you should pay attention to the UltraGear series monitors. LG introduced three models at once: 27 ″, 34 ″ and 38 ″ (27GN950, 34GN850 and 38GN950). They are equipped with 4K IPS panels with a response time of 1 ms and a refresh rate of 144 Hz (with the possibility of acceleration to 160 Hz). Typical brightness is 450 nits. Declared 98% coverage of the color space DCI-P3. There is support for VESA DisplayHDR 600 and G-SYNC. Two HDMI ports are available, one DisplayPort and three USB-A.
Another new addition is the LG Curved UltraWide (38WN95C). It is equipped with a curved 38 ″ IPS panel with a resolution of 3840 × 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Response time – 1 ms, typical brightness – 450 nits, there is support for VESA DisplayHDR 600 and G-SYNC. Declared 98% coverage of the color space DCI-P3. There are Thunderbolt 3, two HDMI, DisplayPort and two USB-A.
LG has not yet disclosed information on the cost of new products, as well as the date of their sale. Perhaps we will find out these data at CES 2020.
