Facebook has released a new tool that allows you to easily and easily transfer photos and videos directly to Google Photos.
Facebook is a member of the Data Transfer Project, whose goal is to create more convenient tools for the exchange of information between various services. In addition to Facebook, the Data Transfer Project also includes Apple, Google, Microsoft, Twitter and others.
The new Facebook tool is based on code that was developed jointly with other project participants. Representatives of the social network note that at first they added support for Google Photos, but other services may appear in the future.
The tool will be useful for users of Google Photos, who do not include automatic backup of photos on their smartphones, but actively use Facebook. The first to test the tool will be Irish users, the rest will have to wait for "the first half of 2020." You can find it in your Facebook profile settings.
