My Storytime is a service from Google that allows parents to record audio stories for children.

Do you want to post an article on social media?

And the children, in turn, can listen to them by asking the Google Assistant about this.

Google is trying to make its virtual assistant more personal for each user. For quite some time now, he can tell stories to children at night, but now parents have the opportunity to record audio stories themselves.

To do this, you need to log in to the service My storytime under your Google account, which is used for your smart speakers. Next, you will need to record a set of phrases (greeting, a call to choose stories, etc.) so that the child can choose the appropriate story. Then you can start recording the audio story.

To activate My Storytime mode, just go to the Google Assistant with the phrase “Hey Google, talk to My Storytime”. At this point, you will hear the greeting phrase you recorded earlier. Then your voice will prompt you to select one of the stories and you can play some of them. By the way, you can share your audio stories with close friends and relatives so that they can listen to them on their smart speakers.

My Storytime service is already running and is available to all users. It will be useful for parents who often have to go on business trips, or spend a long time away from their families. And with the help of such audio stories, you can slightly compensate for separation. I think children will definitely appreciate such a function.
