The Fossil Hybrid HR offers a combination of a conventional dial and an E-ink screen.
The new smart watch is equipped with an E-ink display, which is located behind the analog hands. Thus, a classic dial is provided for displaying time, and the weather, the number of steps taken, heart rate, calendar, notifications or other data are displayed.
Hybrid HRs are also equipped with an optical sensor that monitors your status and displays information in real time. By the way, the screen has a backlight, so in the dark it’s enough to tap twice on it so that the information is better visible.
Smart watches offer roughly the same feature set as Fossil models running Wear OS. The device monitors your sports performance, shows how much time it takes to get home, can control music playback (using the adjustable keys), allows you to set an alarm or start a timer, completely displays notifications on the display, and much more. Declared moisture protection (3 ATM) and fast charging. By the way, the battery life of Hybrid HR is about 10-14 days.
The device is available in size 42 mm, strap width – 22 mm. Different colors of the Fossil Hybrid HR went on sale, but interestingly, the color of the E-ink display in them corresponds to the dial and strap. As for me, a smart watch looks very stylish and it would be interesting to test such a device. The cost of new items – from $ 195 to $ 215.
