Using long exposure in astrophotography, you can take cool photos.
The astrophotography mode, which was announced with Pixel 4 smartphones and has already become available on previous generation Pixel smartphones, thanks to craftsmen with XDA-Developers, allows you to use the camera to create unusual long-exposure lighting effects. Some users managed to experiment and shared their results. It looks very cool.
I wonder why Google did not add the ability to manually enable a slow shutter speed. Indeed, in astro mode, the smartphone creates a photo for 60 seconds. But in order to activate this mode, you must first go to Night Sight, then fix your device motionlessly until the notification “Astrophotography on” appears on the screen. Nevertheless, with a little practice, you can take similar pictures.
