Although the first season has not even appeared on streaming platforms.

Let me remind you, Amazon recently announced the shooting of a new series based on the novels of J.R. R. Tolkien, "The Lord of the Rings." Moreover, it became known that they will shoot it in New Zealand – in the same locations where the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies were created.

And despite the fact that they have not even started filming the first season, the company already has plans to continue the series. It is reported that Amazon wants to shoot several episodes of the first season, then take a break of “four to five months” to work on the script, and then shoot the remaining episodes, and at the same time the second season.

So far, little is known about the events that will be shown in the series. It is expected that we will be shown a story that took place long before books and films. Rumor has it that the narrative will focus on young Aragorn. In addition, it is reported that the cast of the series is not yet fully matched.
