Xiaomi company at a special event introduced a number of new products, as well as announced their official cost in Ukraine.

The first was the “budget flagship” Redmi Note 8 Pro. We have already talked about the technical characteristics of the device, so I will focus on the most interesting points.

The camera primarily draws attention. Redmi Note 8 Pro was the first smartphone in the world equipped with a 64 MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 camera module. The company consists of an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2 MP macro camera and 2 MP depth sensor. At the presentation a lot was said about the amazing detailing of the pictures, it will be interesting to test this in practice.

I also note that Redmi Note 8 Pro was the first representative of the line equipped with an NFC module. This is definitely a bonus for buyers. In addition, the smartphone has moisture protection, a 4500 mAh battery with support for fast 18 W charging, a USB-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack, and an infrared port.

Redmi Note 8 Pro goes on sale October 9th. Three colors are available: “Green Forest”, “Gray Mineral” and “White Pearl”. And now the best part is the price. Version 6/64 GB will cost customers 6999 UAH. The option with 128 GB of internal memory will cost 7799 UAH.

The second novelty was the Redmi 8 smartphone, for which today's announcement was, in fact, a world premiere.

The smartphone was equipped with a 6.22 ″ display with HD + resolution and a drop-shaped cutout, in place of which there is an 8 MP front camera. The screen is covered with a protective glass Gorilla Glass 5. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset acts as a hardware platform. RAM can be installed 3 or 4 GB. Built-in storage capacity is 32 or 64 GB. There is a slot for microSD memory cards.

One of the main trump cards of Redmi 8 is its autonomy. The built-in battery capacity is 5000 mAh. This should be enough for about 3-4 days of work. Fast 18W charging via USB-C port is supported.

The main camera consists of two modules: 12 MP + 2 MP. Below them is a fingerprint scanner. Among other characteristics, I note the presence of a 3.5 mm audio jack, moisture protection according to the P2i standard, two slots for SIM cards, an infrared port.

Redmi 8 will be available in Blue Sapphire, Red Ruby and Black Onyx. The price tag starts at 3999 UAH for the 3/32 GB version. 4/64 GB configuration will cost 4499 UAH. The smartphone will go on sale on October 17.

Together with smartphones, Xiaomi showed two models of televisions that are already on sale: Mi TV 4S 55 ″ and Mi TV 4A 32 ″.

The larger model boasts an all-metal body. The 55 ″ screen has a resolution of 4K and supports HDR technology. For the performance of the device meets the quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. Built-in storage capacity – 8 GB.

Xiaomi representatives promised a premium sound quality at Mi TV 4S. Declared support for technology Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. Three HDMI, three USB-A, Ethernet and composite inputs are available from the connection ports. Dual-band Wi-Fi is also available. The kit comes with a Bluetooth remote. The TV is running Android TV and the proprietary shell PatchWall.

The cost of Mi TV 4S 55 ″ is 15999 UAH.

The 32-inch Mi TV 4A has HD resolution and supports HDR. Inside installed Amlogic T962 processor, 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. Support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD is also claimed. There are two HDMI, one USB-A, Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi.

Mi TV 4A 32 ″ is priced at 4999 UAH.
