One of the innovations shown at the Samsung Developer Conference 2019, which is taking place these days, is the new Galaxy Home Mini smart column.
Rumors about the release of a compact smart speaker by Samsung have been around for quite some time. However, given that the standard version of the Galaxy Home, introduced back in August last year, has not yet gone on sale, the prospects shown on the SDC 2019 Galaxy Home Mini are still vague.
I note right away that this is not an official presentation of a smart speaker. Samsung has been testing it in South Korea for a couple of months, and now it just showed it at its conference. The company does not disclose plans for the release of the Galaxy Home Mini. Earlier on the network, there were rumors that the device will go on sale in the second half of 2019.
Do you think it makes sense for Samsung to launch a Bixby smart speaker on the market? Given that the leaders in the person of Google and Amazon have already managed to release more than one generation of their devices.
