PC gamers will get new content for the story mode, and the game itself should look more interesting than on consoles.

Let's start with the system requirements of Red Dead Redemption 2. They do not look transcendental, so a large number of users will be able to test the game from Rockstar Games.

Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7 – Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • Video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
  • Hard disk space: 150 GB

Recommended Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 – April 2018 (v1803)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
  • RAM: 12 GB
  • Video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB / AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • Hard disk space: 150 GB

But if you want to get the most out of the PC version of the game, you have to get more powerful hardware. Among the main technical innovations, I note the support for high resolutions (4K and higher), support for HDR, wide-format systems and systems with multiple monitors, increased drawing distance, improved global lighting and shading, more realistic footprints in the snow, high-quality reflections and shadows, tree textures with tessellation, improved grass and animal fur textures.
