Meizu has unveiled a new low-cost smartphone that boasts flagship features.
Meizu 16T received a 6.5 ″ Super AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution. There are no cutouts, holes, or outgoing mechanisms, because the smartphone uses a very compact front camera module. It has a resolution of 16 MP, supports the unlock function on the face of the user, portrait mode, Automatic HDR and other functions.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset acts as the device’s hardware platform. 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM can be installed. Built-in storage capacity: 128 GB or 256 GB.
The main camera consists of three modules: 12 MP (Sony IMX362, f / 1.9) + 5 MP (Samsung 5E9, f / 1.9, depth sensor) + 8 MP (Samsung 4H7, f / 2.2, wide-angle lens).
The built-in battery capacity is 4500 mAh. Supports fast 18W charging. The mTouch fingerprint reader is integrated into the display. Meizu claims to fire in 0.2 seconds. There are modules Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C port, stereo speakers. The presence of NFC is not specified. The device is running Android 9 Pie and the proprietary Flyme 8 shell.
Meizu 16T went on sale in three colors: Lake Light, Whale Blue and Daylight Orange. The cost of the basic version 6/128 GB will be $ 282. Option 8/128 GB will cost $ 325. The top 8/256 GB configuration is priced at $ 353.
