Sony presented the new smartphone Xperia 5 with a diagonal of 6.1 ″, which, according to the company, should fit perfectly in your palm.
The Japanese company sought to create a flagship device in a more compact form factor. Just like she did with the Compact line. However, calling the Xperia 5 small is rather difficult – it is equipped with a 6.1 ″ OLED display. And only thanks to the aspect ratio of 21: 9 (resolution 2560×1080 pixels), the gadget can really beat competitors due to a more comfortable grip (width 68 mm). On the other hand, this aspect ratio in the smartphone also raises questions regarding the comfort of use.
Technically, the Xperia 5 is practically no different from the flagship Xperia 1. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB ROM, a triple main camera (12 MP, f / 1.6, 12 mm + 12 MP, f / 2.4, 52 mm , TV + 12 MP, f / 2.4, 16 mm, wide-angle), 8 MP front camera, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, fingerprint scanner on the side. The battery capacity is 3140 mAh. There is support for Dolby Atmos, PS4 Dualshock controllers, as well as moisture protection according to the IP65 / 68 standard. The smartphone is running Android 9 Pie.
Sony Xperia 5 goes on sale in black, gray, blue and red. The cost of new items has not yet been specified.
